5.3 km run, 21 km bike, 2.3 Km run, starting and ending at NSCC.
Peggy Royal was a Y volunteer swim coach and active triathlete in the community, who passed away from cancer several years ago. Both her children were on the swim team, and also worked at the YMCA as lifeguards.
The YMCA Duathlon was re-named in her honor. This event is in conjunction with a local cancer group that raises funds to help local cancer victims travel to Halifax for treatment.
