Capital Development

On February 22, 2010 ACOA announced a contribution of $375,000 toward the capital development of the YMCA of Yarmouth. Combined with support from the Town of Yarmouth, Municipality of Yarmouth, Municipality of Argyle, YMCA resources and generous contributions from YMCA supporters this will amount to a project of $1.1M. Work planned includes an electrical and mechanical upgrade including air conditions, new roofs, new exterior cladding, more natural light, and replacement of all the lighting fixtures. The youth locker rooms will be completely refurbished. Work will be carried out during 2010.
